Run the forecourt and the shop on one system.
Fuel, the convenience shop, the coffee machine and the fleet accounts all run through the same counter. We supply the Clover hardware, set it up around how your site trades, and support it through the hours you're open.
What Service Stations operators use it for
- Ring fuel and shop in one sale
- Check ID on age-restricted lines
- Serve the morning coffee rush
- Cash up at every shift change
- Bill fleet and account customers
- Watch takings from off site
Through the day
From the forecourt to the counter
Fuel and the shop are one transaction to the customer. They should be one to you as well.
Fuel, coffee and shop lines settle as one sale.
- Ring the pump against the shop basket and take one tap for the lot.
- Flag tobacco, vapes and other age-restricted lines so the screen asks for ID before they scan through.
- Split a sale when the driver puts fuel on the company card and the coffee on their own.
- Show the pump number and the price on screen before the customer taps.
The site keeps trading long after the day manager goes home.
- Give each attendant their own login so sales and refunds land against the right shift.
- Count the drawer and print the shift report at handover, not at the end of the week.
- Check the night's takings from the dashboard on your phone instead of driving back to site.
- Keep a Clover Flex on the counter as backup. It carries 4G when the broadband drops.
Account customers get billed without holding up the counter.
- Bill fleet and account customers online through Nuvei instead of settling every fill at the till.
- Send the monthly statement with a pay link so the office pays by card without ringing you.
- Hold a card on file with the customer's written authority and charge the account on the same day each month.
- Keep the driver moving. They take the docket and go, and the paperwork happens off the forecourt.
The kit
What we usually put in a service station
Nothing here is fixed. It is where most operators in your trade land, and we quote to your counter, not to a template.

Clover Station Solo
Most forecourt counters have one narrow run of bench left beside the fuel console, and the Station Solo fits it: a single 14-inch screen with the receipt printer and cash drawer set up around it. The fuel line, the shop basket and the coffee settle as one sale, and each attendant signs in under their own code, so a site that trades around the clock still reconciles shift by shift.

Clover Station Duo
If there's room for a second screen, the customer reads the pump number and the price on their own side before they tap, which settles most counter disputes before they start.

Clover Flex
Open a second point of sale for the coffee and hot food rush, and keep taking payment on 4G when the site's broadband drops at 2am.

PAX A80
For sites that already run a fuel console and only want a card terminal beside it, with a physical keypad attendants can key on without looking down.
Works with what you run
It has to fit the rest of your business
A till that will not talk to your accountant just moves the work somewhere else. These are the connections that matter most in your trade.
Accounting
Fuel and shop takings can go into Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks through the Clover App Market, so shift reports aren't typed up a second time. Ask us which apps are live where you trade. The apps on the list differ between Australia, the US and Canada, so check with us first.
Rostering & payroll
Nights and weekends have to be covered, and rostering apps like Deputy, ADP or Gusto sit in the Clover App Market. The named partners differ by country, so let us check your market first.
Online ordering & delivery
If the site sells hot food and coffee, DoorDash and Uber Eats connect through the Clover App Market. Ask us which of them are live where you trade.
Forecourt controller
Whether the pumps hand the sale across to the POS depends on the controller already on site, so send us the make and model and we'll check before you buy anything.
Apps are added and withdrawn market by market. Tell us what you already run and we will confirm what is live for you before you commit — see the Clover App Market.
Done for you
We set it up, then we stay on the end of the phone
You are buying an installation and a local contact, not a carton.
Installed on site
We deliver, mount and configure the hardware in your premises — not a box in the post.
Loaded before handover
Your products, prices and modifiers are built in before we hand the system over.
Your team trained
Hands-on training so every shift can take payments, run refunds and cash up.
